(KRON) -- Stuck Sanders’ The Bay Area Hip-Hop Nutcracker is celebrating its 10th anniversary, bringing its "fresh, electrifying" reimagined twist on the holiday classic back to the stage where it all began.

The event takes place Saturday, Dec. 19, 2026 at Fox Theatre Redwood City, located at 2221 Broadway Street in Redwood City.

The performance showcases more than 30 Bay Area dancers and performers, including Sanders.

“Bay Area Hip-Hop Nutcracker is about taking something everyone knows and loves and seeing it through a completely different lens,” says Stuck Sanders. “After 10 years, it’s incredibly meaningful to return to the Fox Theatre, where this journey began, and celebrate the dancers, artists and audiences who have made this production part of their holiday tradition.”

Sanders performed with several members of his dance crew in the Super Bowl LIX halftime show featuring Kendrick Lamar.

"Since its debut in 2016, Bay Area Hip-Hop Nutcracker has introduced audiences to a distinctive fusion of classical music and street dance, creating a holiday experience that appeals to longtime fans of The Nutcracker and newcomers alike," according to a press release. "From explosive choreography and high energy dance battles to the instantly recognizable melodies of Tchaikovsky, the production offers an engaging theatrical experience for audiences of all ages."
