INDIANAPOLIS— An Indiana manufacturing icon is celebrating National Manufacturing Month by highlighting more than seven decades of innovation and production in the Hoosier state.
Delta Faucet Company has called Greensburg home for more than 70 years. The facility was the company’s first manufacturing site.
Today, Delta Faucet Company employs about 900 people across Indiana, including approximately 350 workers at its Greensburg facility.
Here’s a look at Delta Faucet Company’s impact:
Scott Wesseler, site director for the Greensburg facility, said the plant continues to play an important role in the company’s specialized manufacturing operations.
“Greensburg is where we do some of our most special finishing work, like champagne bronze,” Wesseler said. “We’re blending decades of manufacturing expertise with cutting-edge technology.”
Delta Faucet Company manufactures a range of products, including faucets, water filtration systems, bathing systems, shower doors, bath hardware, and steam and digital showering products.
Trevor Hopster, senior director of category manufacturing, said today’s manufacturing industry offers opportunities that go beyond traditional production roles.
“Manufacturing today isn’t what it was 20 or 30 years ago,” Hopster said. “We’re focused on innovation, technology, and creating opportunities for talented people to build meaningful careers right here in Indiana.”
The company said it continues to prioritize its employees, workplace culture and talent development as manufacturing technology evolves.
October is recognized as National Manufacturing Month, highlighting the industry’s contributions to the U.S. economy and the career opportunities available in modern manufacturing.
Delta Faucet Company is using the month to showcase its Indiana operations and its continued investment in local communities.
